My wife and I have known Jonathan since 2002 when he and his guys installed an ornamental pond, laid an adjacent flagstone patio, and built an attractive cedar wood/wire fence replacing a boring chain link segment. Over the years, he maintained the pond, installed individual metal partitions around the pond for privacy, and provided valuable plant information including the actual planting. During the building of our new house in 2019/2020, I got the builder to hire Texoma Landscapes, replacing the original company who defaulted on the job, to finish the remaining landscaping work which included designing the final size and shape of the front flowerbeds, working with my wife in choosing what kinds of plants to use, and doing the installation. They also laid the remaining sod in the back, installed a very long French Drain, and air spaded around our trees to uncover the root flares that were covered up by the original landscaper. Since we have moved into the house, they have fixed and upgraded our sprinkler system, making it more functional and efficient, and have performed other work as well . Texoma Landscapes has been around a long time and is a testament to Jonathan's landscaping and irrigation knowledge. I consider Jonathan a good friend, sharing water, coffee, and even a chicken salad sandwich over the years. I highly recommend Texoma Landscapes with Jonathan at its core.

I recently had a serious water leak in my irrigation system when the main filter split. It was like a spigot was turned on. I contacted Jonathan and he rescued me!. He talked me through how to temporarily turn off the water and then sent a crew to fix the problem. Jonathan knows his plants. We had an issue with vinca ground cover dying out every summer. He was able to immediately tell me what caused the problem and multiple solutions. However he will also tell you what is best out of those solutions and why. He shares his knowledge with confidence and and leaves you with a heartfelt feeling that no matter who you are he cares.

We lost most of our shrubs during the freeze several years ago. So we asked Jonathan to give us a landscape that was low maintenance but had lots of color. We found that Jonathan really knows plants and was able to design a wonderful layout for us. The brickwork looks great. We are extremely pleased with the results.

Had Johnathan install a sprinkler system for me in August of 2021. Over the winter I forgot to put a protective freeze sleeve over my release valve. It froze and broke the release valve. It was releasing water everywhere. Called Johnathan and explained the situation. He told me what valves to cut off until the day he could arrive. He sent a man within a day or two of when he said. I thought this would end up costing a couple hundred. Instead Johnathan had his man replace the whole mechanism. It was no charge to me even though I should have protected it. I am very appreciative of Johnathan for looking out for me.

Jonathan most recently replaced the plumbing changing my waterfall from literally a waterDRIP back to a waterfall. He also replaced the old koi pond pump that services the waterfall several weeks ago. Jonathan is my yard guy. Handles seeding,mowing and trimming as well as irrigation services on my 20 yr old system. Add in annual planting for seasonal color and mulching and he is basically making my only job lawn wise is to sit under the pergola with the night lights that he installed in the trees shining down and enjoy the fruits of he and his crews labors.
The last 2 winters cost me multiple crepe myrtles as well as about 6 larger trees due to freezing weather. They got in and removed them promptly and worked to preserve other shrubs and trees that were damaged. So far still alive

Our front yard had many drainage problems.
For 20 years we resodded 3 times with no success.
When heavy rains came everyone coming to front door walked thru higher than ankle deep water.
Not good for people or foundation. Jonathan designed a plan for drainage, for replacing outdated sprinkler system and new ZOYSIA GRASS. Costly but working.

Jonathan (Texoma Landscapes) has been doing my landscape work for about 5 years, beginning with design and installation of a retaining wall to control erosion next to my barn. He has since resurfaces my drive with crushed garnet, renewed the beds around the house, installed stone borders around the pool and the flower beds. replaced the mulch in the beds with smooth river stones, and killed the weeds and nut grass in the yard.

Jonathan and his crew created a utility walkway, freshened up the front flower beds with new flowers. they also set new stones with a footer and mortar around the flower bed. The front oak tree stone work was replaced with new. The crew put a footer in for the new stones and did the mortar also between the stones. They did a great job on all listed items. the utility walk job was moving irrigation system and extending rain down spouts under the walkway. this was all taken care by Texoma landscapers. The clean up after the job was excellent. I have them coming back in to do the oak tree in the back yard with stone boundary with footer and mortar. Great job completed by Jonathan and his crew.

Just want to thank Jonathan, I had a huge sandbox from an old above ground swimming pool and my backyard had drainage issues. Texoma Landscapes came in removed all of the excess sand, graded my yard, installed french drains, sodded my back yard. They removed my old clay soil and brought in beautiful rich soil and mulch. The crew cleaned up every day before they left and on the final day scrubbed the walks where they had been working. His prices may be a little higher than some but the quality of the work and materials made it well worth the price. He even threw in some extras not in the original quote. Overall, we are very pleased.

We met Jonathan 24 years ago when I asked for a bid for new landscaping at our new home. He is the only landscaper who actually listened to my ideas. He is creative with his ideas, so my beds were unique! Then, fast forward 10 years, we are in a new home and putting in a pool with landscaping. I called Texoma Landscaping again. Jonathan’s team came through. He created a privacy screen using a combination of trees, shrubs and roses. Just stunning. He incorporated lots of blooming plants, grasses, and shrubs that added interest. We were thrilled! Then. 15 years later I pulled out a long line of old, anemic looking shrubs against the house. My husband foolishly called a nursery out of Dallas that we shop at. They came out, redid that boring line of bushes against the house with another line of bushes against the house. And also created a new problem with drainage due to rock work. I had flooding there every time it rained. The next spring, i called Jonathan to come in and put some drains in and help move the water from the front door area. Success! Then I asked him to redo the beds we had just put in. Thanks to Jonathan and his hardworking team, we have a landscape at our newly built home that we are delighted with. We chose our lot because of the beautiful oak and pecan trees growing on it. During construction of the house the root flares of the trees had been buried. Jonathan had the knowledge and equipment to save our trees by exposing the root flares. He also understood the need to provide proper drainage to our lot. He did this by installing a network of french drains. Next, we asked Jonathan to design and install the flower beds around our house. From having worked with Jonathan most of the last twenty years, we were well aware that he values plants that are low-maintenance, colorful, and able to thrive in specific locations according to their need for light. He and his team prepared the beds, repaired the faulty irrigation system and planted a beautifully designed garden. Jonathan was always available to answer our questions. He was patient, friendly, and professional. Our experience with Texoma Landscapes was everything we hoped for and more.

We had Texoma landscapes put a native plant flower garden in the front of our home along with some bushes at the front of the property all with a drip irrigation system ... everything looks good ...about a year after some of the flower did not come back and they were cheerfully replaced ... I had a stuck sprinkler valve and our garden was suffering. One call to Texoma Landscapes had Jonathan and crew out the very next morning. Friendly and courteous, they got right to work identifying the location of the valve, and the course of action. An hour later they were driving away with our system back to 100%. I had a leak in my sprinkler system. I had called another company who said they would come to repair it, but never did. I called Jonathan, and he said, "We'll be there within the hour." I was so glad they came, located the problem, and had a plan of action that day. Early the next morning, he and his crew were here to repair the leak, and replace sprinkler heads. They did a lot of digging, but before they left, everything was cleaned, the ground was tapped down in the yard, and I can barely notice that there was digging, and the leak was fixed. The previous owner of our home had done very shoddy work on the UG sprinkler system; zone not working, wrong and damaged heads, etc. Finding the issue with the zone was particularly difficult, but Jonathan and his crew traced the source and quickly fixed it. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Jonathan and his amazing crew installed french drains in my back yard, which had become a veritable swamp. Now my yard is dry and the grass is actually growing! Jonathan and his crew are Awesome! They are very professional and respectful of their customers needs. Jonathan is very good at keeping the lines of communication open to get the job done with the least disruption to his customers life / work schedule. He repaired my sprinkler system which was a mess. Now I have a beautiful yard and don't have to move a garden hose around. I will use Jonathan again for any of my future lawn needs.

We had Texoma Landscape repair our sprinkler system. There was a leak, one section that did not work and several defective heads. Mr. Castro was very prompt to respond to my request for an estimate and we accepted his bid. They arrived to work on time as scheduled and worked to find the leak and repair it. They replaced the heads as needed and found the valve which was not working and repaired it. It was a challenge, but they succeeded! Now all sections are working.
